We are located in the PA Wilds Region, in Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania. Just off historic route 6, in a quiet residential neighborhood, adjacent to and overlooking the Coudersport Area Recreation Park. It's a short walk to the County Courthouse, Post Office, and downtown restaurants. The guesthouse opened in September of 2009. My husband, a registered architect, designed and built the guesthouse for us to live in while we renovated our 100 year old home next door. Completed in 1994, we refinished it in 2009 for the opening of the guest house. This is our only unit and we live next door, so we can provide the privacy and hospitality that suits you. Private stairs lead you up to an outdoor deck and into a contemporary, studio like cottage. With a 12 foot high cathedral ceiling and windows on three sides, it is spacious and has beautiful mountain views and is clean, light, and airy. This modified challet has a cozy tree house feel. You' ll relax the moment you walk through the door and you'll get a great night sleep on a new king size bed. It is warm in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer. The guesthouse is approximately 50% larger than the average hotel/motel. We have accomodated business men and women, medical professionals, and tourists from as close as Niagara Falls, NY and as far away as France, Spain and Australia.
